Belt up or beware – it is time for the annual Click it or Ticket campaign on Florida’s roadways, courtesy of the Florida Highway Patrol and local and national law enforcement officers.
The safety belt enforcement campaign kicked off Monday and ends Sunday, June 3. Officers will be cracking down on drivers who do not buckle up after the state reached a record high last year for safety belt use, but many drivers and passengers still don’t buckle up.
