Some people used eggs this morning to make an omelet.  But at one local elementary school, instructors used eggs to show children the big difference wearing a helmet can make. Dropping and cracking an egg was just one of the techniques used to demonstrate why wearing a helmet while riding a bike is important. More than 400 students at Glen Springs Elementary School learned about helmet safety at Wednesday’s Bike Safety Rodeo. The event is organized by the City of Gainesville’s Bicycle/Pedestrian Program.
