What a great idea for the education of our children to help keep our children more safe. There is so much that our children do to just have fun, but don’t realize that tradegy could occur, if they aren’t educated about safety in these areas. I am so empressed with the originality of this concept that makes the educational process fun and inovative for our children. Thank God for the SafeKids program in our community of Gainesville and surrounding counties and schools. The Director. Debora Regain is doing a fabulous job! Keep up the good work.

I believe it – when a driver has been drinking there is still some reaction time, but when a person is texting, they may as well have their eyes closed. You can’t react to something you don’t see at all…and if you are reading or typing a text, you can’t be watching the road.

The Black Creek Chapter of ABATE of Florida, Inc. would like to become actime members of the Clay County, and all other District 2, Community Traffic Safety Teams. Being located in Clay County we would like to begin this process close to home by attending the Sept 23rd meeting. If an agenda is available we would appreciate a copy in advance.
